2. AI Recommendations Disclaimer
Our AI-powered system provides tariff recommendations based on your uploaded energy bill. These recommendations are for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial advice. Users should verify details with their chosen supplier before making a switching decision.
Meet George does not guarantee that an AI-generated recommendation is always the best available option. Users are encouraged to compare tariffs independently before committing to a switch.
3. Third-Party Supplier Responsibility
Meet George is an independent platform and is not affiliated with any energy provider. While we facilitate energy switching, we do not supply energy ourselves.
Once a switch request is submitted, the energy supplier is solely responsible for processing the switch. We do not control or influence their pricing, terms, or approval decisions. Any issues arising from a supplier's refusal, delay, or modification of a switch request must be resolved directly with the supplier.
Meet George is not responsible for:
- Changes in supplier terms or pricing after a switch request has been submitted.
- A supplier's failure to process a switch request.
- Billing disputes or errors caused by the supplier.
4. Services Provided

5. User Eligibility
- The service is available to UK residents aged 18 and over.
- Users must be the homeowner, leaseholder, or have explicit authorisation to switch energy suppliers for the property they are acting on behalf of.
- Users must not impersonate another person or attempt to switch an energy account without proper authority.
6. User Responsibilities
- Users are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide is accurate and up to date.
- Users should review and verify all AI-generated recommendations before making any decisions.
- Meet George is not liable for errors resulting from incorrect or incomplete information uploaded by the user.
7. Data Security & Breach Response
Meet George implements security measures to protect personal data. These include AES-256 encryption for stored data, TLS 1.3 encryption for data transmission, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to limit access to sensitive data.
We also have a Data Breach Response Plan in place. In the event of a data breach affecting personal information, we will investigate the incident, notify affected users as required under UK GDPR, and take appropriate action to mitigate any risks.

AI Transparency Policy
1. Introduction
At Meet George Limited ("Meet George", "we", "us", "our"), we believe in transparency when it comes to the use of artificial intelligence in our services. This AI Transparency Policy explains how our AI-powered system processes energy bills, its capabilities and limitations, and what this means for you as a user. Our goal is to ensure that you fully understand how AI is used to assist with energy tariff switching while keeping you in control of your decisions.
2. How AI is Used in Our Service
Our AI system is designed to assist users by automating the extraction and analysis of data from uploaded energy bills. It performs the following functions:
- Extracting Key Information: The AI reads and identifies details such as name, address, MPAN/MPRN, meter numbers, energy usage, current tariff, and supplier.
- Generating Insights: The AI analyses energy usage patterns and presents users with tariff options from partnered energy suppliers.
- Enhancing Efficiency: AI speeds up the energy switching process by reducing manual input and ensuring accuracy in data extraction.
The AI does not make the final switching decision—users are always in control and responsible for selecting a new tariff and supplier.
3. AI Limitations
While our AI-powered system is designed for accuracy and efficiency, it has certain limitations:
- It does not make automated switching decisions: The AI assists in presenting information, but users must manually confirm any tariff switch.
- Accuracy depends on document clarity: If an uploaded energy bill is blurry, cropped, or incomplete, the AI may not extract all details correctly.
- Users should verify AI-generated outputs: We recommend that users review the AI's extracted data and confirm details before proceeding with a switch.
4. No Human Review of AI Outputs
Meet George operates as an AI-powered service, meaning that all bill analysis and data extraction are conducted by our AI system. We do not offer human review of AI-generated recommendations or extracted data.
Users who do not wish to have their energy bill processed by our AI should not use our service, as the AI's functionality is integral to our platform.
5. AI Training and Data Protection
We ensure that personal data is not used to train third-party AI models. Our AI models are used strictly to process individual user requests in real time. Additionally:
- No personal data is stored for AI training purposes.
- Future AI improvements may involve anonymised, aggregated data, but no personally identifiable information (PII) will be used.
- AI outputs are deleted after 12 months, in line with our Privacy Policy.
6. User Responsibilities
As a user of Meet George, you acknowledge and agree that:
- The AI-powered service is provided "as is" and serves only as an aid for energy bill analysis.
- You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of AI-generated outputs.
- Meet George is not liable for any inaccuracies resulting from AI processing.
7. Contact for AI-Related Concerns
For questions or concerns regarding AI processing, you can contact us at privacy@meetgeorge.co.uk.
8. Updates to This AI Transparency Policy
We may update this AI Transparency Policy to reflect advancements in AI technology or regulatory changes. Users will be notified of significant updates via email or a notice on our website.
